Rev. David Wilkerson, Founder of the faith-based drug & alcohol recovery centers located around the world called Teen Challenge, as well as Founder & Pastor of the Times Square Church in New York City and Author of the world-renowned autobiography, The Cross and the Switchblade, was killed yesterday in a head-on collision on a Texas highway at the age of 79. David’s wife Gwen was seriously injured in the accident.
David Wilkerson was one of the great Evangelists, Prophets & Pastors of our time. He will be sorely missed as another giant of the Faith goes home to be with Jesus.
