I’m 57 and consider myself a young man! If you are over 50, don’t end up like me fighting for your life against prostate cancer simply because like me, you didn’t check your PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen). By the time I finally had a blood test to check my PSA early last year, mine came back at 57! Anything above 4 is a possible indication of prostate cancer! Cancer had not only consumed 95% of my prostate, but had spread outside my prostate into the surrounding tissues and lymphnodes! Not only did I have to have my prostate removed, but now I’m undergoing 18-months of hormone therapy, which is horrible! You have intense “hot flashes” about every 45-minutes; plus you loose focus, fire, passion and energy! In addition I’m undergoing 7-weeks of daily radiation treatments Monday–Friday, burning my insides trying to kill the cancer. Today is my Halfway mark! 17 of 34 radiation treatmetns done! 17 down, 17 to go!

If I had only had my PSA tested a few years ago, I could have caught this early and treatment would have been much more certain as to the outcome! IF YOU ARE OVER 50, DO NOT END UP LIKE ME – GET YOUR PSA CHECKED ANNUALLY!

I thank and praise You my Lord Jesus Christ that You forgive all my iniquities and heal all my disease! (Ps. 103:1-5). Thank You Lord Jesus Christ that You were wounded for my transgressions, bruised from my iniquities, the punishment for my sins that brought me peace with God was upon You, and by Your Stripes (Wounds) I am healed! (Isaiah 53).
