Todays Lesson in Biblical Economics! The below passage reveals 4 powerful principles of Biblical wealth creation:

Deuteronomy 8:12-18 (NKJV)
12lestwhen you have eaten and are full, and have built beautiful houses and dwell in them;
13and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold are multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied;
14when your heart is lifted up, and you forget the Lord your God17then you say in your heart, My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.
18And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Principle #1) Verses 12-13, reveal that God desires to bless us with the enjoyment of good food and “beautiful houses,” as well as enjoying a successful business – “your herds and your flocks multiply,” resulting in us amassing wealth via possession of precious metals – “and your silver and your gold are multiplied!”
Principle #2) Verse 13 also reveals Gods Biblical Economic Principle by which He creates wealth for His people – the Miracle of Income Multiplication – “and all that you have is multiplied!” (the word “multiply” or “multiplied” is used 3 times in this 1 verse!)
Principle #3) Verse 18 reveals that it is God “who gives you power to get wealth” & that wealth is included in His Covenant with you – “that He may establish His covenant [with you]!”
Principle #4) Therefore, since God is the Giver of wealth, verses 14, 17-18, warn us against becoming prideful and thinking – “My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.” But rather, we must – “remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth!” How do we – “remember the Lord our God” with regard to our money? By returning to God 10% – the Tithe – of all our income for it is “Holy to the Lord” & “belongs to the Lord your God!” (see Leviticus 27:30-32; Malachi 3:6-10). How do we return the Tithe (10%) of all our income to God? By placing it into the Offering plate at Church every Sunday! (see Malachi 3:10; 1 Corinthians 16:1-2). Don’t have a Church? Find a good Bible-believing Church and bless them with your Tithe every Sunday! And God will bless you financially!
